Delivered in 1983 to a humble category of farmers in Chiapas Condition, Julión Álvarez moved to Sinaloa at age 18. He started producing headway in norteño music, executing in pubs, and got his big break in 2002 when he became a member of Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizárraga. After many years, Álvarez remaining the group and created his personal, Julión Álvarez con Su Norteño Banda. They debuted using the recording Corazón Mágico, led by popular single from the same name. From then on, the singer started liberating a string of effective albums at a torrid price — 11 between 2007 and 2014 — that led him to be among the leading numbers from the genre. He continues to be nominated for a number of Latin Grammys, and in addition served like a judge for the skill display La Voz… México. Álvarez paid homage to a small number of his preferred banda performers and important musical influences along with his 2016 recording of addresses, Mis Ídolos, Hoy Mis Amigos!!!
