Julie Miller

Texas-born singer/songwriter Julie Miller was raised within a music-loving household. As a teenager in Austin, Miller produced her professional debut being a vocalist and started collaborating with her husband to be, guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Pal Miller. They resolved in Nashville, and soon after Pal released his single debut, Your Like and Other Lays, on HighTone Information. The album highlighted performing and songwriting from Julie aswell, and something of her tracks, “All My Tears,” was included in Emmylou Harris and Jimmy Scott. Harris finished up working with both Millers, offering Pal a business lead guitarist i’m all over this her 1996 tour, and offering visitor vocals on Julie’s albums Blue Pony (1997) and Broken Issues (1999). Julie and Pal Miller also collaborated with like-minded music artists and close friends like Victoria Williams, Tag Olson, and Jim Lauderdale because the Creek Dippers, with Steve Earle and Patty Griffin, who also added to Broken Issues. In 2001 Pal & Julie Miller released their eponymous debut record being a husband-and-wife duo, along with a compilation of the HighTone recordings entitled Like Snuck Up was released in 2004. The Pal & Julie Miller record Written in Chalk found its way to 2009 on New Western world.
