Julia Darling

New Zealand’s Julia Darling started her creative career like a dancer in Melbourne, Australia, but quickly shifted to poetry as her innovative outlet, which progressed into songwriting. Borrowing cash from a roommate for an classical guitar, Darling became a road musician, and was observed by a moving record company professional. This resulted in Darling obtaining a supervisor and liberating an EP of her tunes, which led to a record offer from Wind-Up Information. 1999’s Physique 8 designated Darling’s full-length debut and her first launch for the label.
