b. Robert Edward Wilson, 21 January 1904, St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Elevated in Chicago, Wilson performed drums within a young boys’ music group, then used the violin. He performed in various rings in night clubs in Chicago and in addition on pleasure ships. In the 20s he was mainly in the north-east, ultimately playing in NY by the end of the 10 years. He visited European countries with Noble Sissle’s music group and continued to be there for quite some time, playing with regional bands and in addition with going to fellow countrymen. He worked well in Germany, Spain, Holland, France and North Africa, the second option region having a music group led by Small Mike McKendrick. He kept residencies like a presented designer in Malta where he continued to be until the middle-50s. He continuing to tour the Mediterranean area for some more years before going to Paris on the way to the united states.
