Judy and Mary certainly are a pop-punk music group that scored continual achievement in japan mainstream music picture through the entire second half from the 1990s. Shaped in 1992 by vocalist Yuki, a squeaky voiced, petulant youthful female, and bass participant and main article writer Yoshihito Onda, both went through other music group personnel until buying Takuya (guitars) and Kota Igarashi (drums). Using their outlandish outfits, which owed even more to the large hair-bands of Visible Kei, and Yuki’s frequently bizarre onstage antics, the music group grew from cult group to mainstream favorites: these were, enjoy it or not really, a cute edition of punk, injected using the plastic material position of pop artwork. The kids treasured it. Their debut record, J.A.M., was quite punk, but simply because the years continued, the pop sensibilities and developing songwriting self-confidence kicked in, as well as the music group was attempting on a variety of designs: ballads, rock and roll, pop, ska, everything upbeat and offering Yuki’s unusual lyrics. By the finish from the ’90s, the music group had work its training course, and Yuki was starting to appear in various other projects, like the group Nina, Mean Machine, and a duet using the vocalist Chara. In 2001, the music group released their 6th and final record, Warp, and performed one last present in Tokyo Dome. Many best-of compilations have already been released.
