The essential musical materials derives from a tone-row selected because of its whole-tone features. Based on the composer, “The top of piece targets small subgroups from your underlying row, having a resultant tonal quality; ‘Aura’ also identifies traditional type in its dramatic usage of transposed recurrent styles which reach circumstances of quality at its close.” The task has a unique post-romantic quality while keeping a tonally-flexible independence; the composer efficiently manipulates orchestral timbres to make a mystical aura comprising clouds of audio components.
