Judith Lynn

b. Judy Voiten, 12 Apr 1936, Boise, Idaho, USA. The child of band innovator Joe Voiten (who once caused Bing Crosby), Lynn was raised to be always a teenage rodeo rider. She also became a yodelling champ and in 1955, she displayed her state within the Miss America competition. Later exactly the same 12 months, once the touring Grand Ole Opry display performed Boise, she deputized for the indisposed Jean Shepard, which led to her becoming a member of the display. In 1957, she co-hosted with Ernest Tubb the very first national television displaying from the Grand Ole Opry. This resulted in looks on many main tv shows and after departing the touringOpry display, in 1960 she created her own music group and began her own tv series. ‘Footsteps OF THE Fool’ became her 1st in support of US country Top 10 strike, when it charted in 1962. Noted on her behalf beauty and beauty, her colourful western-style Nudie outfits along with a repertoire that went from big ballads to yodels, she became extremely popular. She was among the 1st country singers to surface in NEVADA and was a presented artist round the Nevada gambling establishment circuit for over twenty years, being a regular performer at main venues like the Golden Nugget Golf club and Caesar’s Palace. She documented for several brands including ABC, United Performers, Musicor and Columbia Information and her last nation chart strike was ‘Padre’ in 1975.
