The winner from the fourth season from the American Idol-style reality show Objectivo Fama, singer/songwriter Juan Vélez — also called simply Juan — kept his winning streak going steady along with his full-length album debut, Con Mi Soledad (2007), which became a high Ten hit upon its to push out a half-year following the show’s finale. Blessed Juan Antonio Vélez on August 2, 1983, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and elevated in Coamo, Puerto Rico, he was among 30 semi-finalists selected to compete in the 4th period of Objectivo Fama, hosted by Mexican vocalist/celebrity Yuri. While auditioning for the present in LA, he fulfilled fellow contestant Erica Gonzaba; both became more and more close and confessed mid-season that that they had dropped deeply in love with each other. This, obviously, designed for dramatic tv, and even though Gonzaba was ultimately eliminated in the show on Apr 28, 2007, Vélez continued to be the winner on, may 20. He eventually performed some concerts at Un Centro de Bellas Artes Luis A. Ferré in Santurce, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and commenced the documenting of his full-length debut record, Con Mi Soledad, with renowned manufacturer Sergio George. Released in Dec 2007 by Fonovisa, Con Mi Soledad peaked at amount eight on Billboard’s Best Latin Albums graph; on the other hand, the Vélez-penned name monitor peaked at amount 22 in the Hot Latin Monitors chart.
