Shaped in Oslo, Norway, in 1998, JR Ewing unleashes a complete strike of angular guitars and relentless riffs similar to Drive Like Jehu, the Hot Snakes, On the Drive-In, and Refused. Several months after developing, JR Ewing proceeded to go into X-Ray Studios and documented six tracks that led to the band’s self-released Integritas.Consonantia.Claritas 7″, that was afterwards re-released by Lilac Sky. After touring Scandinavia and European countries, the music group released two divide 7″s with Break and SYC. Contacting in Deceased, JR Ewing’s debut full-length, documented in six times, improved the band’s audio with tighter songwriting. The record premiered on Coalition Information in 2000. The Singles Collected implemented on German imprint Scorched Globe Policy, and in Feb of 2001 the group documented The Perfect Dilemma EP, which embraced a trashier lo-fi sound. When drummer Morten Billeskans became unwell and couldn’t full a tour, the music group solidified the lineup of vocalist Andreas Tylden, guitarists Erlend Mokkelbost and Håkon Mella, and bassist Petter Snekkestad, with Kenneth Lamond on drums. Then they recorded a divide record with This Machine Kills. Trip Paranoia, JR Ewing’s most achieved record and their initial for Gold Regular Laboratories, was documented in nine times in-may 2002 and released in Feb 2003. With firmly wound dual guitars along with a thrashy strength, the album offered to sweep the dirt out and revitalize the stale hardcore genre. What will be their last album, Maelstrom made an appearance in america in-may 2005, because the music group nearly concurrently announced their dissolution.
