b. 1939, Chicago, Illinois, USA. Layne experienced only 1 US Best 20 solitary in 1957, ‘Your Crazy Heart’, rather than returned towards the graphs. Managed by her mom, she auditioned for Mercury in Chicago. Provided a music that had recently been recorded from the Poni-Tails, ‘Your Crazy Heart’ premiered in early 1957 and reached quantity 20. Having a powerful voice much like Brenda Lee’s, great items were expected for Layne, but her mom would not allow her tour or promote her recordings, and by 1961 her profession was over.
