Joy Ford

b. 10 March 1946, Excellent, Alabama, USA. The eldest of eight kids of musical parents, Ford selected cotton as a kid. The family members relocated to Chicago in 1959 and 2 yrs later on to Poplar Bluff, Missouri. In 1963, she became a member of theCentury 21 Display (a big touring carnival that performed state fairs all around the USA) as an acrobatic dancer. Right here she caused Loretta Lynn who urged her to sing. She ultimately moved to NY where, for a while, she pursued an effective acting profession and sang at locations. She joined Nation International Information and obtained her first graph achievement in 1978 with ‘Like Isn’t Like Until You Provide It Away’. In 1979, she toured using the Nashville Magic Music group and through the 80s, she got four minor strikes, the last to arrive 1988 with ‘Last night’s Rainfall’. Beyond her music and performing she has the Melody J Ranch in Dickson Region, Tennessee, where she increases Appaloosa horses.
