Boasting an ear for indie pop hooks and lush, ornate arrangements, Josh Ottum produced his songwriting debut in 2007 using the launch of Just like the Time of year. Culled from an abundance of music Ottum wrote in his Seattle bedroom, the recording was recorded by using Wayne McAlister and Casey Foubert, both of whom experienced previously caused another pop-minded songwriter, Sufjan Stevens.
