José Soto

José “Sorderita” Soto is really a flamenco guitarist and singer. Delivered in 1961 in Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz, to some prestigious flamenco musician family, Soto arrived to his own being a founding person in Ketama, one of many exponents of the brand new Flamenco motion in the first ’80s. Soto produced four albums with Ketama which were instrumental in pioneering the fusion of flamenco and globe music, but he ultimately grew disenchanted using the direction where the Carmona brothers wished to consider the music group, and he still left Ketama in 1992. Exactly the same season he released his solo profession with the discharge of Motivos. In 1994 he’d work once again with Ketama for Songhai 2, a follow-up with their landmark 1988 record that initial brought jointly Malian music and flamenco. Over time Soto has continuing releasing single albums while getting into a number of tasks, including a short duo with Raimundo Amador, but he provides proven most effective being a composer and manufacturer for famous brands Vicente Soto, José Mercé, and Miguel Poveda.
