A get good at improviser, Jose “Un Canario” Alberto is among Latin music’s most influential youthful vocalists. Since getting international interest as the musical movie director of Tipica ’73 in Oct 1977, Alberto has truly gone to record ten interesting albums of salsa music along with his New York-based music group Jose Alberto “Un Canario” Y Su Orquestra. A indigenous of Santa Domingo, Alberto transferred with his family members to Puerto Rico at age 7. Influenced by Latin music, Alberto sharpened his vocal abilities at Todas las Antillas Armed service Academy. Shifting to NY in the first ’70s, Alberto sang with an extended set of orchestras. Dealing with Tipica ’73, Alberto started dealing with such top-ranked Latin music artists as Johnny Rodriquez, Sonny Bravo, Mario Rivera, Leopoldo Pineda, Nicky Marrero, and Alfredo de la Fe. Developing his own music group in 1983, Alberto was among the 1st artists authorized to the Tropical department of Ralph Mercado’s RMM label. Furthermore to performing along with his music group, Alberto has regularly performed with Latin vocalist Celia Cruz.
