Influenced with the classic songwriting of John Martyn, Scott Walker, and Serge Gainsbourg, London-born Jonathan Jeremiah’s authentic timeless appear combines gritty acoustic R&B with folk-tinged soul. Blessed in London for an Anglo-Indian dad and Irish Catholic mom, he began executing at age 14 after creating a deep wealthy baritone voice. Throughout a street trip across America, he began writing songs among journey prevents and landed employment playing the piano in a fresh York club, influencing his decision to pursue a profession in the music sector on his go back to the U.K. After putting your signature on to Island Information in ’09 2009, he released his debut EP, What’s a man Got to Perform?, supported Rumer as well as the Pierces on the U.K. travels, and supplied vocals on “Great Riddance,” a monitor from dance duo Aeroplane’s second recording, We Can’t Take flight. Written and documented with previous Suede guitarist Bernard Butler as well as the Origins ‘ ?uestlove, his self-produced debut LP, A Solitary Guy, premiered in 2011.
