Since his appearance over the alt-country scene using the Grievous Angels in the mid-’90s, Jon Rauhouse is becoming Bloodshot Records’ secret weapon multi-instrumentalist, appearing on greater than a dozen of their produces, aswell as guesting on albums for other brands. Developing up in Az, Rauhouse started playing banjo on the dare from a higher school classmate, each of them ending up within a bluegrass music group known as Southwind. Rauhouse performed in Southwind for seven years, switching to pedal metal guitar after 2 yrs on banjo. After Southwind, Rauhouse spent almost a decade being a sideman in the Phoenix region, using every music group he could. He finished up in the Grievous Angels, who got a cope with Bloodshot and released two albums and an EP. When the Grievous Angels reached the finish of the street, Rauhouse acquired a short-lived task known as Sleepwalker with Jamal Ruhe, after that found steady function documenting and touring with Sally Timms, Kelly Hogan, and Neko Case. While on tour with Neko Case, Rauhouse went into Tommy Connell, a previous person in Southwind. When enough time emerged for Rauhouse to record a single record, he enlisted his previous friend Connell, aswell as players in the Bloodshot steady, to record Jon Rauhouse’s Metal Guitar Air Present, a fun assortment of (mainly) instrumentals in the heart of Speedy Western world & Jimmy Bryant, covering a variety of designs from Western golf swing to Hawaiian that premiered in 2002. Rauhouse set up fundamentally the same staff for the follow-up, Metal Electric guitar Rodeo, in 2004. Hawaiian Electric guitar Expedition found its way to 2005, accompanied by Metal Guitar CORONARY ATTACK in 2007.
