Portland, Oregon-raised, Raleigh, North Carolina-based vocalist/songwriter Jon Lindsay began honing his art at age three, nonetheless it wasn’t until a little later that he’d turn into a powerhouse power pop confectioner, maker, article writer, composer, and activist. The boy of the minister dad and an award-winning children’s publication author mom, Lindsay spent his formative years fronting different bands, like the Youthful Sons, Catch Open fire, and Carlisle, and touring like a multi-instrumentalist with performers like Nicole Atkins and Benji Hughes. This year 2010 Lindsay released his 1st full-length, Get away from Plaza-Midwood, via Chicago’s Chocolate Laboratory Records, adopted in 2012 from the Carry Hearts Fox-issued Summer season Wilderness Program. The next yr, Lindsay, along with Whiskeytown violinist/vocalist Caitlin Cary, co-founded a local, politically active designer collective known as the NEW YORK Music Love Military. Through the collective, Lindsay released some powerful protest tracks, and in 2015 he released a set of singles in expectation of his third studio room long player, Metropolitan areas and Schools, that was set for discharge in 2016.
