Jon Christensen

b. 20 March 1943, Oslo, Norway. Christensen earned the Norwegian Jazz Beginner Competition at age 17 and shortly became the standard drummer behind going to American musicians. Going back 2 decades he provides pursued two concurrent musical professions. On the worldwide jazz celebration circuit he provides played with performers as mixed as Dexter Gordon, Gary Burton, Sonny Rollins, Terje Rypdal and Stan Getz.
