Jon Azpiri

As a kid developing up in Vancouver, Canada, Jon Azpiri imagined either using trumpet in James Brown’s horn section or being the starting place safeguard for the Seattle Supersonics. Since neither The Godfather nor The Sonics bothered to come back his phone calls, he has resolved for a profession being a freelance article writer where he divides his time taken between authoring music and sports activities. He’s a contributor towards the hip-hop newspaper XXL and in addition has contributed to THE FOUNDATION. He’s also a contributor to SLAM Newspaper and Inside Stuff.
