Johnson Products

Johnson Items was a funk/disco clothing in charge of the 1979 one “Johnson Jumpin’,” that was released over the Audio of NY label (or SONY), among the many small-time underground disco imprints work by companies Peter Dark brown and Patrick Adams through the later ‘70s and early ‘80s. A gritty instrumental offering funky electric guitar flicks, a variety of hands percussion, plus some just-barely-tethered synth lines (presumably performed with the innovative Adams), Dark brown and Adams certainly kept “Johnson Jumpin'” in high respect, as re-interpretations from the melody produced the backbone of several rap tracks documented later because of their brands, including “Willie Rap” by Willie Hardwood & Staff and “Super-jay Appreciate Theme” by Super-jay.
