Johnossi

When vocalist/guitarist John Engelbert and drummer Oskar “Ossi” Bonde formed Johnossi within their local Stockholm, Sweden in 2004, the duo played just four gigs just before signing with an area label and saving a debut album. Although Engelbert performed an classical guitar specifically, his arsenal of results and overdriven amplifiers place Johnossi within the same stylistic ballpark as additional guitar-and-drum duos just like the Dark Keys, White colored Stripes, and Mr. Aircraft Man. An effective tour using the Soundtrack in our Lives and essential acclaim for Johnossi’s 2006 debut brought the duo to the eye from the Control Group, which reissued the recording in America through the fall of 2007. Johnossi backed the discharge with an American tour alongside the RAISE YOUR VOICE Louds. Returning house, Engelbert and Bonde retreated to some studio within the outskirts of Stockholm to record All They Ever Needed in eight times. The recording premiered in 2008, showing the band’s development like a brutal, aggressive rock action. The self-produced Mavericks implemented two years afterwards. A tiny recording hiatus implemented before Johnossi came back in 2014 using the epic Transitions which, like Mavericks, reached the very best Ten in Sweden. With a worldwide audience set obviously in their places, the platinum-selling duo searched for a straight bolder sound making use of their 5th record, Bloodstream Jungle, which found its way to early 2017.
