Johnny Pace

b. c. 1927, USA, d. 1979, USA. Hardly any is known concerning this vocalist whose interesting vocal sound enticed the interest of trumpeter Chet Baker. Speed was brought in to the documenting studio room in the past due 50s to record with Baker’s quintet, including flautist Herbie Mann, pianist Joe Berle and drummers Philly Joe Jones and Ed Thigpen.
