Guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Johnnie Bassett was raised with blues music throughout him in his local Florida. His exclusive capability to combine leap blues and Delta stylings provided his playing a unique sound. The self-taught guitarist recalled viewing Tampa Crimson, Arthur “Big Boy” Crudup, as well as other traditional blues performers at seafood fries in his grandmother’s backyard.
