John Talabot

A maker and DJ of mostly low-key home music created for personal and public configurations, John Talabot (given birth to Oriol Riverola in Spain) surfaced in 2006 beneath the titles Oriol D.a.r.con.l. and D.a.r.con.l. The 1st John Talabot 12″, the three-track My Aged School, premiered in Apr 2009 on Germany’s Long term Vacation label. 8 weeks later, another 12″, “Sunlight,” premiered around the producer’s personal Hivern Discs. Extra well-regarded singles adopted on those two brands, aswell as on Youthful Turks, throughout 2010 and 2011, while Talabot remixes for famous brands Tahiti 80 and Teengirl Illusion piled-up. Debut record ƒIN, including a small number of vocal tracks thanks to Pional and Ekhi, made an appearance in Feb 2012 on Long lasting Vacation. A particular edition from the record added remixes from Bullion and Pachanga Guys, amongst others. Talabot blended a level of !K7’s long-running DJ-Kicks series, released in November 2013. The combine included “Sideral,” the initial track made by Talabot and Swedish manufacturer Axel Boman beneath the name Talaboman. It had been issued as an individual in 2014, co-released by Hivern and Boman’s Studio room Barnhus. Talabot released the one “Without You” (!K7) in 2015, accompanied by “Voices” (Everlasting Vacation) in 2016. In 2017, his debut full-length, THE NIGHT TIME Land, premiered by R&S.
