John Stax

John Stax was the initial bassist in the Pretty Factors, playing on the initial two albums and 1964-1966 singles. He previously started using Pretty Things business lead singer Phil Might and business lead guitarist Dick Taylor in 1963, when he sat in on classes at Sidcup Artwork University, which both Might and Taylor went to. He only performed on several tracks on the third album, Feelings (1967), before he was changed by Wally Waller. Thereafter, Stax still left the music business, emigrating to Australia.
