John Sheridan

Stride and golf swing pianist John Sheridan was created in 1946 in Columbus, OH. He captured the jazz insect early, at age eight, when he initial heard a documenting of Benny Goodman’s 1938 Carnegie Hall concert. By enough time he was 13 he had been operating professional piano gigs. Sheridan went to Capital College or university in Columbus pursuing high school, making a bachelor’s level in piano, after that enlisted within the U.S. Navy in 1968 and offered using the U.S. Navy Music group in Washington, D.C., until his release in 1972. Sheridan signed up for North Texas Condition College or university and graduated in 1977 having a master’s in music. He became a member of Jim Cullum’s Jazz Music group in 1979 and continued to be using the group until 2002, when he remaining to freelance by himself. Over time Sheridan spent some time working with Scott Hamilton, Wycliffe Gordon, Jake Hanna, Ralph Sutton, Yank Lawson, Dick Hyman, and many more. Among his many recordings (all on Arbors Information, owned and operate by Rachel and Mat Domber) are Something INFORMS ME (1997), Dream Music group, Make Me Fantasy EVEN MORE (1999), THEY CAN NOT Take That From Me (1999), Obtain Rhythm in THE FEET (2002), Artistry 3 (2004), and Easy since it Gets (2005).
