Originally from Newfoundland, tenor saxophonist John Nugent burnished his jazz skills through the early to mid-’80s at Sir Francis Xavier University, the Banff School of Good Arts, and North Texas State University. He shortly racked up many years of touring knowledge with the main one O’Clock Lab Music group and Woody Herman, furthermore to executing with everyone Ella Fitzgerald and Mel Torme to Bob Wish as well as the Temptations.
