John Németh

Delivered in 1976 in Idaho, John Németh was raised in Boise, where his initial contact with music was performing within the Catholic Cathedral. He branched out following that, though, and was playing in regional bands as an adolescent. He was 17 whenever a friend, Tom Moore, subjected him towards the blues, and jointly they formed Fats John & the 3 Slims, that is still seen as a renowned band within the Boise area. Németh began using the Junior Watson Music group in 2002 in addition to gigging along with his very own music group, the Jacks. A vocalist with great range, capability, and soulfulness, Németh got also progressed into a top-notch blues harmonica participant, which resulted in an area with Anson Funderburgh & the Rockets, where he stuffed in for the fantastic Sam Myers. A self-released record using the Jacks, The Jack port of Harps, made an appearance in 2002, accompanied by another self-release, Arrive and OBTAIN IT (which highlighted the Junior Watson Music group) in 2004. That same season Németh still left Boise and relocated to SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA. In 2006 he agreed upon with Blind Pig Information, which released Magic Contact (made by Anson Funderburgh and offering Junior Watson on electric guitar) in 2007. Name your day!, also on Blind Pig Information, followed this year 2010. The Scott Bomar-produced Memphis Grease, documented in Bomar’s Electraphonic Studio room in Memphis using the Bo-Keys, came early in 2014. ~ Steve Leggett
