John Jennings’ greatest asset is his knack to make other musicians audio great. A longtime person in Mary-Chapin Carpenter’s music group, with whom he’s documented 11 TOP singles, Jennings provides performed guitars (acoustic, electrical, slide, lap, metal, and baritone), synthesizers, body organ, piano, and percussion, and sung history vocals and/or created albums for Carpenter, the Indigo Young ladies, John Gorka, the Rankin Family members, Cheryl Wheeler, Janis Ian, Iris Dement, George Jones, Beausoleil, Robin & Linda Williams, Costs Morrissey, and Auldridge, Reid & Coleman. Using the discharge of his debut single album, Pal, Jennings effectively stepped in to the limelight.
