Biography
Guitarist, lyricist, and vocalist John Earl Walker became enamored using the blues in age group 13, after exposure to information by legendary guitarists from the genre such as for example Albert Ruler, Magic Sam, T-Bone Walker, and Freddie Ruler. By his 16th birthday, Walker experienced already started playing acoustic guitar at local occasions and in night clubs whenever you can. In 1967 he created the blues-rock music group the Plastic material People, including bassist Pete Harris and guitarist Joey Tremelo. 3 years later on the Plastic material People transformed their name to Plum Nelly, documented many albums for Capitol Information in the middle-’70s, and obtained national exposure starting displays for B.B. Ruler, Muddy Waters, Alice Cooper, and Iggy Pop, to mention just a couple. Following the separation of Plum Nelly in 1976, Walker created the to begin several incarnations from the John Earl Walker Music group. The most steady lineup was initiated in 1990 when previous Housepainters drummer Bobby Infante was added, becoming a member of Harris, Tremelo, and Walker. They released their debut Compact disc, I’m Departing You, in 2002, accompanied by Small Miss Perfect and folks Are Talkin’ 2 yrs later on. All three discs can be found on the brand new York-based Orchard label.
