John d’Andrea

Music director from the 1969 cult film, Hells Angels ‘69, John D’Andrea has truly gone to an illustrious profession in film and tv. His underscore for well-known Television show, Baywatch, co-written with Jim Jamison, Cory Lewis and Joe Henry, received anASCAP prize in 1995. 2 yrs later, ASCAP provided him with an award for having “the best number of functionality credits on tv within the group of dramatic underscore.” He previously previously received an award for his orchestration from the 1987 film, Filthy Dancing. After focusing on the music of such exploitive 1980s films as Savage Roads, Hunter’s Bloodstream, Body Slam and Harmful Curves, he offered as music movie director from the 1989 Television film, Swimsuit. His soundtrack for the film resulted in an invitation to take part using the score-writing of Baywatch. While movies continue steadily to dominate a lot of his interest, d”Andrea is constantly on the function in the documenting studio room.
