John Cox

Christian rocker John Cox comes from Dallas and specializes inside a musical design that combines the radio-friendly sounds of Teach and Matchbox 20 with the spiritual message of Jars of Clay. At age 19, he penned his 1st Christian-based song, ultimately relocating to Nashville to pursue a musical profession. Signing towards the Questar/Objective label, 1997 noticed the discharge of his debut recording, SUNSHINEY DAY. Cox backed the recording by opening displays for such acclaimed Christian rock and roll groupings as Code of Ethics and Petra. Although Cox’s label made a decision to focus on the areas beyond music, he returned into the studio room and documented ten paths, which he released himself in 2000 as the record 80 Years.
