John Carter

Within a songwriting group with Ken Lewis, John Carter wrote many pop and rock hits in the 1960s, including Herman’s Hermits’ “Can’t You Heart My Heartbeat,” Brenda Lee’s “COULD IT BE Accurate?,” the Music Explosion’s “TINY BIT o’ Spirit,” and Peter & Gordon’s “Weekend for Tea.” The duo also produced some recordings as Carter-Lewis in the first ’60s, a few of which experienced Jimmy Web page on guitar; these were also area of the Ivy Little league, who experienced some English pop hits within the mid-’60s, as well as the causes behind the Flowerpot Males, who experienced a U.K. strike with the blossom power satire “Let’s Head to SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA.” Carter didn’t pursue a profession like a solo designer, but is provided an access because within the ’60s he documented many demos of his compositions, that have been unearthed for Compact disc compilations in the past due ’90s.
