John Cale & Terry Riley

Both John Cale (born on Dec 3, 1940) and Terry Riley (born on June 24, 1935) were college students of avant-garde composer LaMonte Adolescent. Cale considered rock using the Velvet Underground, but came back to his modern classical history in teaming up with Riley for his or her sole recorded cooperation, Chapel of Anthrax, in 1971.
