John Bergamo

Given birth to in 1940 in Englewood, NJ, John Bergamo utilized a range of unusual devices, African and Asian rhythms, and textures that will be the staple of contemporary percussionists. His function dropped into both globe and new groups, and his single percussion launch on CMP offers something for each and every flavor. A faculty member in the California Institute from the Arts, Bergamo passed away in Oct 2013 at age 73.
