Jazz pianist/composer John Altenburgh was created and raised in Mosinee, WI; in 1989 he founded his very own label, Altenburgh Jazz, and the next year released his debut LP, (Aged Town). 1992’s Vol. II further bolstered his developing popularity, and with the 1993 follow-up Years Altenburgh gained his strongest testimonials yet. Subsequent initiatives consist of Heartland ’95, 1996’s Legends of Keelerville and 1999’s Xmas at Buzz’s Restaurant.
