Johannes Schenck

Schenck was a fantastic viola da gamba participant from the Baroque period. He was of Dutch delivery but was employed with the Elector Palatine Johann Wilhelm I in Dusseldorf. Schenck most likely offered there from 1696 until 1716 when the elector passed away. Composing music for his device and requiring remarkable skilled methods, Schenck did too much to progress the standing from the gamba being a single device and revivify degrees of music in Holland especially in the instrumental and operatic styles.
