Johann Peter Salomon

By 1758 this youthful German violinist was portion in the courtroom of Bonn being a musician. By 1761 and 1762 Salomon continued tour probably so that they can obtain a placement in the federal government chair. In 1764 he was the musical movie director for Prince Heinrich of Prussia where period he fulfilled C.P.E. Bach. Through this encounter he was presented towards the violin music of J.S. Bach. He continuing his travels likely to London by method of Paris. Salomon continued to be and resolved in London producing an appearance at Covent Backyards in 1781. In Britain he spent the majority of his period marketing concerts and performing music. While in Britain he may experienced a submit providing Haydn the written text for his “Creation” and Haydn supplied several musical compositions for the virtuoso violinist. Musically small interest was paid to Salomon’s compositions but his melodies show an unique skill for sonorous melodic lines though they lack any developmental chemical.
