Joey Fatts

A no-nonsense rapper and accomplished manufacturer that has been supported by cousin Vince Staples, A$AP Yams, and Waka Flocka Fire, Joey Vercher, aka Joey Fatts, was attracted to music building after he quit on soccer. The Long Seaside native started launching mixtapes in 2012, you start with the Chipper Jones trilogy (2012-2014) and carrying on with Ill Road Blues (2015) and I’ll Contact You Tomorrow (2016), which were done with Vercher’s hard-edged rhymes, attracted from a hardcore upbringing that included intervals of homelessness and gang activity. Staples was highlighted on many of the mixtape slashes, including “Cutthroat” and “Farrakhan,” while extra guest verses originated from famous brands Danny Dark brown, Freddie Gibbs, and Lil Yachty. Through the same period, Vercher added to monitors headlined by A$AP Rocky (including “Jodye,” a grim co-production), J. Stalin, and Staples, and he and Rapsody exchanged verses on 9th Wonder’s Jamla May be the Squad compilation.
