Joemy Wilson

Acclaimed on her behalf interpretations from the music of 18th-century Irish harper and composer Turlough O’Carolan, hammered dulcimer virtuoso Joemy Wilson was created and elevated in New Haven, CT. After learning piano and violin as a kid, she shifted to tone of voice lessons in senior high school; first picking right up the fretted dulcimer while participating in Barnard University, she graduated towards the hammered model in 1979. In the 10 years to check out, Wilson surfaced as a respected pressure in the resurrection of Celtic music, playing countless celebrations and recording some LPs for the Dargason label.
