Joel Katz

NJ singer and manufacturer Joel Katz has already established a lifelong romance using the vocal group harmonies from the doo wop era, and has tirelessly promoted the genre aswell as getting his very own high, very clear tenor to bear on some modern recordings that keep on the custom, often beneath the name Joel & the Dymensions (he in addition has sung business lead with several other groups, like the Del-Satins, the Autumns, the Wizards, as well as the Platinums). Katz began his singing profession while he was still in senior high school, developing his initial group, Joel & the Conchords, when he was simply 13. He also sang using the Belevederes as well as the Butanes while he was a higher school pupil, and soon after departing school he became a member of the Autumns. For a while he was the performing tone of voice for the dance bear personality on TV’s Captain Kangaroo. Tireless in his devotion to doo wop as well as the vocal group custom, he opened up his own studio room in Fair Yard, NJ, in 1977.
