In 1999 guitarist/composer/singer/arranger Joel Harrison relocated to NEW YORK from the Western Coast, where in fact the multi-talented musician spent years leading different organizations and ensembles, in addition to freelancing like a very much in-demand session player across the SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA area. His electrifying mixture of innovative jazz, modern traditional, and cultural fusion offers spawned seven critically lauded albums (3+3=7, Flexibility, Transience, Free Nation, SUCH A LONG TIME 2nd Road, Harrison on Harrison, Harbor, Passing Teach, and MYTHS), in addition to several film and documentary ratings.
