Joe Popp

A trio formed in Tampa Bay, Florida, USA, in March 1995, Joe Popp comprise ex-Smash Mouth area members Martin Grain (vocals, bass) and Jeff Timber (drums), as well as Joe Popp himself (electric guitar, vocals), formerly the first choice of Canines On Ice. Using their root base in the Tampa Bay alternative rock and roll picture, the group focus on brief snaps of pop/punk, with three-part harmonies and offbeat, fresh lyrics. After development they were originally noticed as support to performers like the Toadies and Wayne Kramer. Their local following extended with concerts in a number of Florida night clubs and a esteemed functionality at a South-Eastern Music Meeting held on the Pantheon Movie theater. Their debut was included with the separately financed and released record Organic Machine. Two music out of this, ‘Radiance’ and ‘Me And Vehicle Gogh’, were performed heavily on regional radio, while Popp also added unique music to two regional takes on. Their video also presented in the Off Middle Theatre production from the Bone fragments Of Danny Winston And Rib Ann Magee.
