Biography

Vocalist/guitarist Joe López met Jimmy González even though attending senior high school in Brownsville, TX. Writing a interest for well-known music, they set up a band known as Grupo Mazz in 1978, getting among the initial Tejano serves to present keyboards. In 1999, after 2 decades of playing jointly, Joe López and Jimmy González proceeded to go different ways, developing Joe López con La Nueva Imagen Mazz and Jimmy González con un Grupo Mazz, respectively. After issuing Mazz Fuerte Que Nunca, a variety of danceable Cumbias and Tejano design, EMI Latin released Fuerte, offering the hit one “Atrapado.”
