Biography
b. c. 1952, Memphis, Tennessee, USA. As a kid Johnson sang within the cathedral choir and during his times as a higher school pupil he started playing saxophones. Afterwards, he researched music as Tennessee Condition University. Sketching his musical curiosity from gospel and modern R&B, he was inspired by jazz music artists as mixed as Charlie ‘Parrot’ Parker and Kirk Whalum, David Sanborn and Grover Washington Jnr. He started working being a program musician in Nashville, playing countless schedules within the jingle mills, and steadily building a name being a soft jazz participant. He toured as starting act for most big name performers of state music, spirit, R&B, gospel and jazz. As Johnson created a reputation being a soft jazz participant, his stylistic mix ranged through his previously interests in addition to hiphop, all smoothed right into a fashionable entire. Contained in his repertoire are tracks such as for example ‘Juke Joint parts And Jams’, ‘You Understand What’s Up’, ‘A Fantasy’, ‘Lifestyle FROM THE Party’, ‘My Lifestyle’, ‘State Yes’ and ‘Arrive Close’.
