Joe Carr

Nation guitarist Joe Carr has issued many solo releases over time, not only is it a one-time person in the bluegrass clothing Nation Gazette, guesting on various other artist’s information, and issuing many instructional guitar movies. A completely self-taught musician, Carr started playing electric guitar at age 13 (motivated by Doc Watson), which resulted in such other equipment as mandolin, fiddle, banjo, and ukulele. Carr became a member of the united states Gazette in the past due ’70s, showing up on 1978’s ALL OF THIS and Money As well and 1981’s American & Clean, before departing the group in 1984 to try out with others and go after a solo profession, aswell as signing up for the music faculty in the “industrial music plan” at South Plains University in Levelland, TX. Carr provides issued several single releases over time, including such game titles as Let’s Move Dance Down in Tx and Series Dance Party Tx Style, provides collaborated with ex-Country Gazette banjo participant Alan Munde (over the record Windy Times and Dusty Skies, as well as the reserve Neon Lighting: A BRIEF HISTORY of Nation Music in Western world Tx), and released numerous instructional movies for the acclaimed Mel Bay firm covering a multitude of playing designs (from Western golf swing and bluegrass to hard rock and roll).
