Joe Butler


b. 12 January 1939, Liverpool, Britain, d. 4 Might 2007. Joe Butler performed bass using the Liverpool rings Sonny Webb AS WELL AS THE Cascades as well as the Hillsiders, with whom he was an associate from 1964-93. He remaining due to his raising commitments to some management agency also to the Liverpool radio train station, Radio Town. He shown their country display and their weekend breakfast time programmes for quite some time. During this time period he started using a new edition from the Hillsiders. He also works together with a previous Hillsider, the metal guitarist Ronnie Bennett, in Hartford Western, a popular nation music group around Merseyside. ‘We play regular materials as I’ve not really written to get a while’, stated Butler in 1995. ‘It’s time I got back again to songwriting once again.’ He shouldn’t be confused with the previous person in the 60s group, the Lovin’ Spoonful.
