Shaped by brothers Marcelo Knudsen and Cláudio Knudsen in the home, João Penca e Seus Miquinhos Amestrados began as Zoo and soon was renamed to Anos 60, before the definitive denomination. In the past due ’70s the brothers reshaped the group in a far more professional method, admitting the vocalist/composer Leo Jaime (who became a normal member in 1981). In January 1982 these were asked by Eduardo Dusek to utilize him, the proposal was noticed in the recording Cantando no Banheiro, the first from the Miquinhos and the next by Dusek. The recording had popular with Jaime’s “Rock and roll da Cachorra.” Within the next yr, Jaime remaining the group and Cláudio Killer (Knudsen) passed away of the gas drip while he was going for a shower. Other people departed in support of Bob Gallo, Selvagem Big Abreu, and Avelar Like remained. With a solid bent over rockabilly (including in clothes and topknots), the group constantly relied on laughter, releasing variations for international strikes like the effective “Telma, European union Não Sou Homosexual” (“Inform Me ONCE MORE,” from the Brazilian group Light Reflections), through the Operating-system Maiores Sucessos De João Penca e Seus Miquinhos Amestrados (Ariola 1983), sung by Ney Matogrosso. In 1984 they documented another recording with Dusek, Brega-Chique (Polygram). Released with achievement as an individual in 1985, the music “Pop Celebrity” was also contained in their second LP, Alright My Gay, accompanied by additional albums: Além Da Alienação (1988), Sucesso perform Inconsciente (1989, with strikes “SOS Miquinhos” and “Matinê no Rian”), Cem Anos de Rock’N’Roll (1990), A Festa Dos Micos (1993), and João Penca e Seus Miquinhos Amestrados (2000). “Suga Suga” (1991) was also popular, being contained in TV Globo’s cleaning soap opera Vamp.
