Joachim Thibault de Courville

This French singer, composer, lyre player and lutenist was praised by Baif as the excel at from the art of good singing. Courville constructed several melodies for Baif, a few of these parts having been performed for Charles IX. Being a co-founder from the “Academie de Poesie et Musique” every one of the music constructed by its associates were still left unpublished; accordingly, there is absolutely no primary extant music of Courville’s.
