She found prominence through the ’60s being a piano participant in the Lawrence Welk Present, but Jo Ann Castle was singing at age three. By age 13, she acquired made an appearance on both Tex Williams’ and Spade Cooley’s radio/tv displays, playing piano and performing country music. Castle later joined up with Lawrence Welk’s range show, but still left in 1969 to improve her kids. She returned with the 1980s, once the jazz label Rainwood agreed upon her to some contract. Recording many series of ragtime favorites, she’s interspersed criteria with her very own originals. Castle also maintains a present on the Welk Champagne Movie theater in Branson, MO.
